Pokémon has become a staple in every generation of child, but underneath that façade of cute, family-friendly content there's always been a dark and creepy underbelly. From disturbing Pokédex entries to Easter Eggs of ghosts and ghouls purposefully placed in game by game designers, the world of Pokémon has become ripe for horror lovers and fans of everything scary to go wild with terrifying fan theories, scary fanart (some by famous manga artist Gunji Ito), and spine-chilling Creepypastas. Creepypastas were once the scariest thing a child could read on the Internet, and while may not be cheesy and cringe in retrospect, there's something about those silly little stories that have such a special place in Sydney's heart. So mixing her love of Pokémon with her love to the macabre, Sydney's will tell two tales from the dark with the help of her friends Unown and Hypno. As always, send us your fic recommendations, or reach out if you are a fic author who would like to be interviewed in the future, at canonicallyincorrectpod@gmail.com

Read along (at your own risk) to these Creepypastas: The Unownking’s Curse: A Pokémon Creepypasta and Hypno's Lullaby
