Profound togetherness and unity is what makes music so crucial to ZAKARIYAH's life. Born in Hawai'i to South African and Chinese parents, Zak was never sure where he might find belonging as he grew up outside of New York City. When he discovered Brooklyn's house & techno scene, Zak felt an instant sense of acceptance and belonging. And some great music to dance to. For him, the journey will always be greater than the destination, and the wide variety of people we meet along the way make that journey that much more rewarding.
