On the morning of April 22nd, 2016, police officers in Piketon, Ohio discovered that eight members of a single family had been shot execution-style and killed overnight, while they slept in their beds. The killings occurred in four different homes all within miles of one another. Their deaths triggered what became Ohio’s largest homicide investigation in the state’s history.
