Manage episode 172772569 series 1253166
Episode Summary:
Ever been curious just how many types of resumes there are out there?
And which one should you use?
What is best to highlight your experience?
One of the questions you want to ask yourself when you are trying to figure out which type of resume you want to use, is what do I want to highlight and what do I want to stand out the most?
What I mean by that is when someone takes that first glance at your resume, they look at it, what do you want their eyes to go to?
Do you want your skills to be displayed first? Do you want your experience to pop out?
This isn’t necessarily what’s the first line at the tope of the page.
There are 4 main types of resumes out there.
1) The chronological resume
2) The functional resume
3) The combination resume
4) Job specific of targeted resume
