Rene talks about her own experience of growing up in South West London and as a young black woman who started her career at Goldman Sachs. She talks about how and why she wanted to write this book, the process she went through and what drives her. It is a fascinating interview that isn’t focused on motherhood but rather on the prejudices and biases that exist in the workplace, and ways to build community support that help to break these down.
