With the traditional start of hurricane season just weeks away, the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS) has released its Rating the States which report evaluates the 18 states along the Atlantic and Gulf coasts, all vulnerable to catastrophic hurricanes, based on building code adoption, enforcement, and contractor licensing.
