La Libia è forse il dossier più importante per la politica estera italiana. Eppure i due governi presieduti da Giuseppe Conte, diversi per composizione politica e agenda internazionale, hanno avuto un approccio identico alla questione: confuso e rinunciatario. L’Italia non ha compreso che il paese nordafricano, nostra ex colonia e fondamentale per l’approvvigionamento energetico della Penisola, è diventato un terreno di scontro dove piccole, medie e grandi potenze non hanno paura di utilizzare ogni mezzo per difendere i propri interessi. L'Italia ha rinunciato a tutto questo, forse per mancanza di strategia o forse perché ha deciso di ignorare che il mondo è cambiato.
