A new survey finds that a quarter of Americans think they will spend more this summer than last year, but you don't have to break the bank to enjoy the season. Try these tips to cut back on costs.

New housing data shows new and existing home sales fell in April as mortgage rates remained high. The number of homes on the market rose by 9%, but prices are still more than 40% higher than four years ago. CBS News business analyst Jill Schlesinger explains.

The NCAA and its Power 5 conferences voted Thursday on a deal that paves the way for universities to pay athletes directly. The deal includes a nearly $2.8 billion settlement that would be paid out to former athletes who sued over the use of their name, image and likeness.
