Family Community Coordinator Aesperita Pinckney of the Charleston County Juvenile Detention Center has been working for the past year to engage youths and inspire them to achieve goals beyond the walls of the facility. Along with programs designed to mentor teens and equip them with knowledge and skills, Pinckney works to link their families with much-needed resources.
