Capt. Jim Woods, who leads CCSO's Traffic Bureau, has worked hurricanes as a law enforcement officer in Charleston County since the 1970s. From traffic contraflow and evacuation procedures to Sheriff's Office response protocols, Woods is our resident expert on tropical cyclones.
