In the summer of 2002, police were called to a gas station in Charleston County after customers reported that the clerk was nowhere to be found. Responding deputies investigated and found the body of Franklin Caddell, who had been fatally stabbed during a robbery at the business. Detective Barry Goldstein talks about the progress of the case and how the technology of today is helping investigators solve cold cases throughout the country-- all in this episode of The Beat podcast, a conversation about the Charleston County Sheriff's Office and our beautiful South Carolina community.
