Today we take a deeper dive into Broadband and Fiber Optic infrastructure in Florida's rural counties, including Levy County. Our host, Laura Byrnes, APR, CPRC, explains how CareerSource Citrus Levy Marion's $1.73 million "Creating Connections" grant for fee-free broadband training will impact the workforce and the future of internet access in Levy County as well as 10 other rural counties in neighboring workforce development regions.

Joining Laura on today's episode is Michele Shulze, CareerSource CLM’ broadband grant coordinator, and Sarah Kasdan Nee Hamilton, operations director for BDI Datalink, which is the company conducting the broadband training.
