For the last four years, we have spent a significant amount of time meeting with and collaborating with leaders all over the country who are passionate about keeping disability ministry on many levels moving and growing and about supporting those along the way who want to participate in the movement.

We are very optimistic. We see many ministry leaders’ mindsets changing and gaining a better understanding of people with disabilities and their role in the church.

We are hopeful because we are also observing that more of God’s people at large are intentionally enfolding our friends with disabilities in church life in a more meaningful way.

Join us as we discuss whether disability ministry should be considered a whole church ministry filtering through all of the ministries of the church or if disability ministry should exclusively be another ministry department?
