Our episode 43 guest, Vorapoj Nimvijit, was now an entrepreneur. And it was something remarkably new, his venture was an Internet-based radio station, BandOnRadio.com. The station was featured with so many big-name radio veterans. Most had been in the business since the late 70s and were still active on the Thai radio business, for example, Viroj Kwantham, Wasana Weerachatplee, both were from the Nite Spot heydays in the 80s. We invited khun Vorapoj and khun Mathuros Osathanondh to share their BandOnRadio story, their views on the Thai radio business and the way social network enable a new way to communicate with the audience.
