A Coroner has criticised the hosts of a overcrowded Dunedin party where Sophia Crestani died, saying her death was likely preventable. The University of Otago student died at a party hosted in a student flat known as The Manor in October 2019. Coroner Heather McKenzie held a week-long inquest into her death in Dunedin in May and returned to the city to deliver her findings yesterday. They can be made public today.
