Author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, J.R.R. Tolkien has long been lauded for his imagination. His own children were especially blessed by this gift each Christmas when their father would write them letters seemingly signed by "Father Christmas." With charming sketches and hilarious tales of Christmas-preparations-gone-wrong, these letters include a glimpse at an entire cast of mythical creatures living at the North Pole.
Today, Production Director Brigid Coyne shares some of her favorite excerpts of “Tolkien’s Letters from Father Christmas,” featuring special appearances from Father Christmas (Michael DeAloia), Ilbereth the Elf (Declan Rohrs), and the North Polar Bear (Julie Fink), this podcast captures holiday magic the whole family can enjoy!
