“When the entire time from 15-now doing dungeons, I was trying to make conversation and no one ever spoke back. Not even a “hi”. When the entire time I am trying to talk to people (in towns) about finding a guild I am mass invited all the time (yes I know I can turn this off), but once I join a guild the only thing that goes on is ‘gratz’ or ‘welcome!’. When I, or others, go out of our way to try to be social but people treat this like a single player game. It is VERY lonely.

I was zone in to a Halls of Origination or w/e it is called earlier, I attempted to make friendly conversation- and no one said anything until the very last 4 bosses when the rogue said “Last boss.”

I understand people don’t want to talk at times, people want to do their own things; but when it’s almost every person you come across. It really takes the social aspect from the game, and it just isn’t fun anymore.”

Jay:

I totally get this, and most of the time I’m more comfortable with the solo type play. But Warcraft is an MMO and you should be interacting with others.

I enjoy an active guild, I like to see lots of achievements and groups running together, even if I’m not wanting to run the dungeons too.

I typically don’t do level via dungeons, but when I have anti-social me is usually the only person saying hello. It’s just polite people!!

While the game shouldn’t completely exclude people who prefer to play solo, but it shouldn’t be designed for us.

Finding a good guild is hard, you gotta shop around. Dig through the forums and such. If you do find someone you run with and they are social maybe join their guild. We’re also coming out of the “slow season” with new expansions come more people who are sometimes more social.

I have felt this at times

I think Garrisons made everyone afraid to communicate

We may have been molded into mission sending gold making Azerothians that are afraid to leave our garrisons and forgot what it was like to play an MMO!

I think the only thing you can really do is realize that we have expectations that are not being met.

Our expectations are a choice that we make and when people don’t live up to them BIG WHOOPTY DO. They don’t have to, it is not their job.

I find that if I have a crazy busy day I kinda just look forward to logging into Ark or Wow and vegetating and not always talking to new people but I am more apt to talk to people asking questions than when someone just tossing out a generic question like, “ How is everyone?” I do always try to say something if someone is left hanging because I hate when that happens to me so I try to not have that happen to others.

I think sometimes we forget that we only see things from our point of view.

People can be afk, have their chat boxes hidden, be in a city where guild chat flies by so fast , or just engrossed in what they are doing.

I think it is important to join a guild for guild purposes not “entertain me” purposes.

I always wonder why people disregard gratz’ing and welcomes because those things take time and if someone didn’t want to say it they wouldn’t so take what you get and stop micromanaging guild chat for god’s sakes lol

Thanks for all of the reports on issues with the amount of XP being rewarded.

We were able to investigate and identify that there were indeed a couple bugs with the way XP rewards were being handed out. We’re working on a hotfix that will correct the following issues:

Fixed a bug that could reduce the amount of XP a player received when more than 6 players were attacking it.

Fixed a bug that could reduce the amount of XP a player received from creatures that scale with the number of attackers.

Once these fixes are live, please let us know how things feel. Again, our intention is for Demon Invasions to feel lucrative as long as players are actively participating in the event, and we believe that, once the correct amount of XP is being rewarded for killing creatures, that will once again be the case.

Mega 5 player dungeon like a 5 player raid

Small raid that caps the story of stormheim and the additional quests in suramar

More info will come after legion launches.

Underscore their commitment to patch content after legion. They plan on doing more patch content and he agrees that actions speak louder than words and that want to compare it to the tip of an iceberg and he said the patch 7.1 is really just a tip of the iceberg.

Idea behind a mega dungeon:

Kara is a weekly lockout possibly split up Mythic Plus dungeon

Karazhan is a long enough dungeon that some people might do part of it one night and then come back to finish it another night.

Small raid does not mean the amount of people who can go in it.

Super tight lipped about things obviously until 8-30

A raid release with the schedule is expected to be out soon

850 capped out gear around 3 weeks in from regular mythic dungeons

Senior end games stuff comes out about that time including Mythic keystones, Normal and heroic nightmare opens and the new PVP season.

Patches can include stuff storyline, systems and rewards based stuff, perhaps new zone raid and a dungeon

They “ultimately want to keep the game evolving throughout legions life cycle and to avoid stagnation”

Home on tuesday, sick but ALONE! Killed lots and lots of demons

Baby druid is in her 70s now, she started in her 40s on Monday!!

All but one of my 100s has done the broken shore.

Started my seasonal toon over. First went with the witch doctor, but wasn’t feeling it so I’ve started a barbarian. She hits things hard which is awesome.

I am having such a great time taking my alts through

I am also enjoying myself by trolling lazy people who just stand there and do nothing by shooting from behind them to aggro things to them so they die BECAUSE I can’t misdirect as we are not in a raid lol

WHICH I wish we were so I could heal people because IM actually digging my druid while leveling though these demon invasion!

I have kinda got my 4 year old into demon invasions too lol

She wakes up from here nap and I let her hit my number 5 button repeatedly which just fires my cobra shot while I run and attack demons. She loves taking down the bad guys.

She wanted me to make her a character! And so it begins!

I want blizz to lets us buy some C4 with some of our nether shards I’m raking in to BLOW UP MY GARRISON!

I LOVE that they scale. I love that I can gear up my alts and buy pets. I live that it feels so stream lined.

Hearthsone:

I played a round of the new “ One Night in Karazhan” in the free prologue section.

Love the vibe, loved the jokes and sayings and animations , got my butt handed to me like always lol

All of my cards are like 3 mana 3 health 3 attack lol the damn enemy had like a gazillion level 12 of everything lololol

I suck at Hearthstone and I think my wallet thanks me!

I have been watching my guilty pleasure and secret pleasure of reality TV Big Brother season 18. I hate it but I can’t stop looking.
