After the success of the first Big Data Bowl, the NFL came back and ran another, this time asking participants to predict the yards a running back will run at the moment of handoff using GPS and event level data.

This competition, run on Kaggle was won by Philipp and Dmitry. We talk about their winning Kaggle entry, how they first got started entering Kaggle competitions and tips on doing data analysis.
