In today’s podcast Edward and Chris discuss potential changes to the Labour Contract Law of China. Every Chinese employee is required to have a labour contract and Chinese labour law is generally considered to be balanced more in favour of employees than employers. Some are worried that this will affect the competitiveness of China’s workforce. Today we will take discuss some of the proposed changes and what they could mean for China’s future.
