In this episode we spoke with investigative journalist, opinion writer, and law student Walker Bragman..
We spoke about his recent article in Paste about Rolling Stone’s Matt Taibbi, the alt-right origins of the most recent attack on him, how the alt-right used the #metoo movement for their own ends, and why people took the bait.
We also spoke with him about his most recent twitter spat with Imani Gandy concerning compassion, solidarity, race, and privilege. Walker speaks to the smugness of the modern liberal, how we can build movements with respect and give more power to the most disenfranchised among us, and how the need for content can overwhelm the needs of good reporting.
