John 11:1 – 54. What is your biggest fear? Not being able to provide for your family? Not reaching your goals? Or your potential? Behind all these fears is often a greater fear, death. In this passage we meet the only man in history to defeat death, we meet God. Jesus’s interaction with Lazarus and with Mary is beautiful in that it shows his care. He wants to rescue people from death. He wants people to live a life eternally with him. This resurrection back to life that Jesus provides is a picture of what he will do at the cross and it’s a picture of the relationship he invites us into. Listen as Rapha opens up that relationship to us.
