1 Peter 4: 1 - 11. Are you part of the 20% of people in church who serve? In tonight's passage, Peter pushes us to serve. He asks us to do more than just give up our time, but our pride and our resources to serve others. The reason is that the end is coming and the temptation is to waste our lives is immoral and debaucherous ways. Whether we serve God or not, he remains glorious, but we can make him more glorious. This passage pushes us not to serve for ourselves, but to serve him. He has graciously given us all things, including a new life and Spiritual gifts. The purpose of theses gifts is for us to serve. When 100% of the church serves, we become a united people impacting the world around.
