John 15: 1 – 17. What do we build our lives upon? What is our foundation? What is it that holds us up? Jesus reminds Christians that he is the true vine and that those who believe in him are his branches. While this message brings comfort by showing us that God is what our branches are attached too, this passage also reminds us that Christians are pruned. We suffering under the Lords control and he lets it happen for our good. To those who are suffering, this passage brings comfort. To those who are not, this passage shows us where we get our true source of life from.
