So what is the Importance of the church? A church’s mission should be the same as Christ’s mission. Churches are not going to be perfect because none of us are perfect, only Jesus is perfect. The Bible has always stressed community, from the Old Testament to the New Testament. We are called to be in community with each other. Church should be the place where imperfect people can grow in their knowledge of grace and redemption.
