Vikki Reynolds joined the show to talk about the way psychological based responses and language can cause harm and obscure the impact of oppression and social structures on the wellbeing of people and communities. Vikki talked about the limitations of self care, collective care and spoke in the context of the current opioid epedemic in Vancouver, Canada. Vikki is a Psychotherapist, Adjunct Professor and Activist based in Canada, where she supervises and supports frontline workers and activists who work alongside marginalised communities.
