Leo Jenkins joins Mike and Bennett for some smoking and joking on this episode of Cigars and Sea stories. Leo is Army Ranger veteran. He served as a combat medic on multiple deployments downrange. After leaving the Army, Leo sought adventure and challenges in other areas of life. He is a champion cross fit athlete, having traveled and competed in various games around the globe. He’s written “Lest We Forget”, “First Train Out of Denver” and, “On Assimilation”; and was featured in “Violence of Action” by Marty Skovlund Jr. and Charles Faint. Leo also co-starred in “Nomadic Veterans”, a documentary, which follows the journey of Leo and Marty Skovlund as they travel across America and Europe in true hobo-fashion: hopping train cars and hitching rides. The pair made it all the way thru Europe in a record setting amount of time, earning money with each mile traveled. All proceeds went to the Gallant Few Foundation founded by Karl Monger.

Bennett and Mike chatted with Leo as he sat seaside in Mexico drinking tequila in his favorite lil hacienda. Leo cruses south of the border in his retrofitted van catching surf along the way. He’s signing off from the digital world for the next however-long to finish writing his latest creation. And, his last contact with the outside world is?....Cigars and Sea Stories! Good choice bro. Godspeed and safe travels!
