On this episode of Cigars and Sea Stories, Mike and Bennett are discussing the best ways to get taken advantage of right outside the main gate. The area right outside of a military base is sure to have no shortage of strip clubs, pawn shops, tattoo studios and used car lots. For years low life scum have plagued military towns preying on service members. They’re the ones who run payday loan places and sell C.L.E.P. books. Those who seek to take advantage of the military service member are looking for the weakest prey, the boots. You can spot them a mile away. Military pride has driven them to walk off base with jungle boots and jeans on, with a trustee MCMAP belt holding them up. He’s getting a high and motivated haircut then hitting the beach. They’re dumber in numbers believe it or not. Drunk Jarheads can convince each other to do pretty much anything.
We recommend taking the party to distant destinations, at least within the boundaries of your 96 or whatever. Just outside of that main gate spillway it turns into normal America. There is a lot to see and do. Don’t let Jacksonville, Stafford, Oceanside or 29 Palms be the only places you experience while stationed in the adjacent, illustrious, locales. Get out there and explore the strip clubs, bars and pawn shops all across America!!! …. Freedom, that’s why.
