At different points in our lives, we are tasked with something that can be overwhelming. Sometimes, this feeling can leave us feeling deprived. We will oftentimes try to counter this by going on a vacation or add something else to our plate to help take our minds off the more daunting tasks. Those things never really work though and they don't work because they don't satisfy our most basic need. In the dry and weary land of depleted souls, we most long for the presence of God.
