In this week's episode, the Captains of Fun & Fuckery try really hard to move away from pessimism into hopeful spaces. If you know us, you know that shit is tough! Luckily, our guests are amazing at a reframe, so we eventually got there.

We are tackling the big & really fucking important topic of transportation. Kendra & Jeanie, from Cal Bike & Fearless Advocacy, respectively, remind us that transportation touches everything &, like so many things, it doesn't get enough attention (except maybe from rich white men).

Our guests help us wrap our heads around the interection of transit & everything, amplify the real issues of marginalizeed folks being left out of important planning discussions & give us permission to drive a car, sometimes.

We hope you leave this conversation eager to hop on a bike or bus or take a walk.

How can you get involved in transit-related shit? Check out Civic Thread, SABA, & The Sacramento Bike Kitchen. Don't forget to let your local reps know you want to see transit prioritized in government budgeting!

Thanks so much for tuning in! & don't forget, fuck Lisa Kaplan, the police, Howard CHan, all campus law enforcement, anyone against Camp Resolution, the ones in that persons garden, Ryan Messano, & highway expansion.

That's the tea,

Shannon, Gabe & PJ
