"Jesus Walks With Us, Until We Walk With Him"

Jesus has been crucified and His body is no longer in the tomb. As two of the disciples leave Jerusalem, on the road to Emmaus, they are discouraged and heartbroken. They do not see how the death of Jesus has brought life. They can't make sense out of the events that have occurred. They feel lost, discouraged and confused. How often do we feel this same way in our own lives? How often are we headed in the wrong direction?
Maybe events have occurred (or are occurring) in your life that you can't make any sense of. Or things are not what you thought they would be. We begin to walk away just like these two disciples. Jesus, doesn't leave us on that path alone. He joins us on our path even when we are walking away! He helps us establish a firm foundation, so we can begin walking with Him again! The hope of the resurrection is that by Him alone we can obtain new life! As we walk with Him, we will be transformed and discover who He has truly made us to be!
