Label: White Whale 227
Year: 1966
Condition: M-
Price: $20.00
There aren't too many perfect pop confections that make me smile like this one! It's one that simply must be in our online "jukebox" of mp3 snippets. This early Turtles single isn't as well known as some of their later ones, but after you hear the snippet, I'm sure you'll agree it's one of their very best. Sadly, all the Turtles hits are out of print on 7-inch vinyl. This is a copy of the first pressing, on the dark blue White Whale label; second pressings are on the light blue label. Note: This copy comes in a vintage White Whale Records factory sleeve. The labels are Near Mint but have a small gold oval sticker on them. The vinyl (styrene) looks untouched, and the audio, I'm very pleased to say, is pristine Mint! (Have a listen to the mp3 snippet to hear what I mean.) (This scan is a representative image from our archives; the oval sticker is in the lower right.)
