Managing a classroom can be challenging. Whether you are a recent college graduate with an education degree, a second career educator, or a seasoned teacher or administrator, chances are you might have lacked quality training and professional development in how to lead students in effective self management. Recent research has shown teachers enter the classroom with few skills in managing all students who walk through the door. It has been common in research for years that classroom management has been the main reason for teachers leaving the profession. If every child is to have a chance to succeed in life, it starts with giving them an opportunity to learn every day. This begins with quality classroom management.
