This week, Mariam Awara, COO of Pulsenics, joins Foresight CEO Jeanette Jackson to discuss how Pulsenics’ technology can create efficiencies in electrochemical processes – used in industries critical to the net zero transition like hydrogen or battery production. Mariam and Jeanette dig into why we urgently need to decarbonize these technologies, and how a network of seasoned mentors can help new entrepreneurs overcome a lack of experience.

A computer engineer by training, Mariam Awara is the COO and co-founder of Pulsenics. A computer engineer by training, heading up corporate development. No stranger to Canadian accelerators, she is a graduate of the Earth Tech stream of Climate Ventures’ Accelerate from Anywhere program, NEXT Canada’s spring 2018 cohort, and Creative Destruction Lab’s 2020 Prime Stream cohort. Mariam has a Bachelor of Applied Science from the University of Calgary, and has been recognized as one of Forbes’ Top 30 Under 30.
