Since a child, Ruth had the desire to become a doctor. The path seemed pretty clear: Go to a 4 year university, pass the MCAT exam, and get into medical school. But things took a turn when she faced a medical emergency, affecting the competitiveness of her GPA score to get into medical school in the U.S. With an open door and no other option, Ruth had to go to medical school overseas in Antigua. An unexpected and unwanted path, but God still had a plan.
Ruth’s testimony will encourage you to trust God, even when the path is different than what you expected, trusting that He works all things for good for those who love him (Rom 8:28).
