A Programming Update for Late September
Manage episode 441011970 series 3516490
Hello friends,
School is back in session and autumn is officially on the way. This means that, not only is prime reading season coming soon, our event on comedy in literature is in just two weeks! Are you coming? We’d love to host you here in Concord and at Goldberry Books—and who wouldn’t want to laugh (and contemplate) with a community as great as Close Readers? (That’s not a rhetorical question. I actually want to know.)
As usual we have lots going on here at Close Reads, so I’ll just get right into here. Here are the schedules for the next few books, etc.

As always, this conversation will take place on Zoom and the link will be sent to subscribers that morning. These have been really lovely conversations and I hope you’ll plan to join us!
Monthly Mysteries
We’ve been enjoying our series of episodes dedicated to mystery stories (or as Heidi refers to them, “the murder pods”), and in September we’ll be discussing The Case of the Gilded Fly by Edmund Crispin, who you might remember from last year’s show. This episode will be up on Friday of next week.
