I really don't like writing my name on one of those sticker name tags they want you to wear at an event or reunion. I always feel like I write super messy on them. It's supposed to represent me right? Like, identify me? Well, yea... it gives my name... but NOT my identity.
My identity is not my given name or title or what I do for a living or what I have done in my past. My identity is found in Christ! And so is yours if you have accepted Him as your personal Savior.
We HAVE to get our identity from Christ! Because if we don't, the world and enemy will tell us who IT thinks we are. And when we accept and believe those false identities, it affects every area of our lives!
My prayer is that this episode will help you and me to have a fresh revelation of WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST so that we can walk victoriously and not defeated!
