Do you dare to dream big? In fact, do you dare to dream at all? Why is that, or why not? I’ve come to the conclusion that it takes the same amount of energy to think of a small task as it does to think of a big task. Let’s look at how we can take the right perspective and Dream Big!

“Dreams come a size too big so we can grow into them”. Josie Bissett

I want to explore 9 ways to dream BIG and get to those goals you think are out of reach, and here they are:

1. Create a Vision Board: Use images and words to represent your dreams. I did exactly that.

2. Seek Inspiration: Read about or watch stories of people who have achieved big dreams.

3. Write Down Your Dreams: Put your dreams in writing to make them feel more tangible. It increases your chances of completing them by more than 40%.

4. Don’t be afraid to strike out: even Babe Ruth one of the greatest and most famous baseball players ever to play baseball had more strikeouts than home runs but he kept showing up!

5. Practice Gratitude: Be thankful for the journey and the opportunities.

6. Eliminate Negativity: Distance yourself from negative influences. I can’t say enough about this point. Negativity is contagious, resist it!

7. Use Affirmations: Reinforce positive beliefs about your dreams. Affirmations are statements that you can create and repeat to yourself.

8. Practice Patience: Understand that achieving big dreams takes time. Even an eagle egg must hatch before that eagle eventually soars high in the skies.

9. Develop Emotional Intelligence: Understand and manage your emotions. This is the last one into biggest one probably of all the rest.

And that's all of them! Don’t let anything stop you, keep dreaming big!

And with that there’s one last thing I don’t want you to forget my friend is that you are capable of doing many things that you dream of. These nine points barely scratch the surface. Never forget that you also carry in you what I call the 18 inch gap. Those doubts, limiting beliefs, lies you have been told, and so much more that keep you from closing the 18-inch gap between your heart your mind can be put aside. Your mind plays against you, but your heart tells you still can do it. Go with the heart and train the mind, you can do this!
