In this episode we talk with John Heintz, Global Systems Engineering Manager at Cisco, about what Cisco Stealthwatch is, how it has evolved over the past year, and how it secures your environment in a way that is fundamentally different from other security technologies. We also discuss some recent security breaches, the "shared responsibility" model for securing the public cloud, and where Stealthwatch fits into the recently announced Cisco SecureX.
Bio – John Heintz joined Cisco Systems from Observable Networks. Prior to Observable, he spent 10 years in the telecommunications space working for major ISPs, he jumped at the opportunity to join Observable Networks, a technology start-up in his hometown of St. Louis. At Observable Networks, he was Director of Solutions Engineering, focused on helping customers improve their security with entity modeling. At Cisco, John runs the Global Sales Engineering team for Stealthwatch Cloud.
