Today, I'm excited to be joined by Coach Mark Carr. Mark Carr was named head coach of the Oklahoma soccer program in January 2020 and enters his second year at the program's helm in 2021-22.

Before arriving in Norman, Carr spent the last six years coaching with the U.S. Soccer Federation, serving the last year as head coach of the U20 Women's National Team as it prepared for World Cup qualifying in February 2020. During his time with US Soccer Coach Carr worked with athletes down to the U-14 level.

Before that Coach Carr spent time as the Girls' Premier League Director and Technical Director for the Lonestar Soccer Club in Austin, Texas.

His broad range of experiences gives him a unique perspective on youth sports coaching, culture, and personal development.

About Jason Mejeur (Coach J)

Jason has more than 15 years of experience coaching basketball at the college and high school level and has lived on the sidelines and in the locker rooms working to build teams and inspire athletes. His mission is to build authentic relationships with his players so that he could have an impact on their lives beyond the basketball court.

More recently, Jason founded MaxOne to be a platform that makes youth sports coaches' lives easier and helps them use technology to have a bigger impact on the lives of their youth athletes.
