“As a coach, it’s not your role to diagnose – it’s your job to pull them.”

Did you know September 30th, 2020, is Concussion in Sport Awareness Day in New Brunswick? We are taking this day to start the conversation around concussion awareness, recognition, and rehabilitation, and how our teams, communities, and families are affected by concussions.

Our guest today has seen both sides of a concussion; as an athlete forced to end her racing career, and as a coach having to make a tough call. Kay Mills is an Alpine coach based in Fredericton, NB, and shares with us the strong concussion awareness culture present in the community of Alpine ski racing.
