More and more we seem to be coming across news articles about how the Dark Web and Bitcoin are being used to potentially commit heinous acts while shielding the perpetrator from discovery. In this episode, we take a look at one such case where IT professional (and minister) Stephen Allwine utilized his IT experience, purchased Bitcoin with cash offline, and scoured the Dark Web to hire a hitman to murder his wife. Even in the face of an on-going investigation, Allwine continued to pursue his goal, and almost got away with it.
