When you are faced with a challenge, what are the first thoughts you have and the first words you use? Your words and thoughts reveal what you are filled with. Are you filled with fear? Are you filled with the world's messages or are you filled with God's promises?
Proverbs 16:20 MSG says "It pays to take life seriously; things work out when you trust in God." Are we taking things seriously and acting like warriors or are we allowing fear and worry and doubt to crumble us and make us weak?
Sure, there is no doubt that we are in a battle called life, but God is greater than any challenge we face. Gas prices are high, but I am still driving my car. Food prices are high, but I am still eating. interest rates are increasing, but I am still paying my bills. If we will trust God with our situations and circumstances, He is always faithful to respond.
Let's change our words and thoughts to victory! Speak God's word instead of what you hear on the street! ♥
