In this episode, Genny will share how important reading is to her, and how reading has influenced her life in many different and wonderful ways. From writing book reports and winning scholastic awards in grade school to being yearbook editor in Grade 9 and representing her school on the "Reach for the Top" team in Grade 12, her love of reading has grown over time and has contributed to her success as an instructor for the University of Winnipeg PACE program and as a podcaster.

A self-professed "nerd", Genny typically has several books on the go; from library books to e-books and re-reading some of her many "favourites"! She loves visiting bookstores and shops that also include a coffee shop. There's nothing she enjoys more than enjoying her books and her coffee! Genny is currently sharing her love of reading with her granddaughter Leni and nurturing that love in her.
