On June 25, 1980, the bodies of two (2) women were discovered in a remotely located field near Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park. The victims, who would later be identified as Vicki Durian and Nancy Santomero, had each been shot multiple times in the head, neck and chest. The women had been traveling from Tucson, AZ to an annual peace gathering known as The Rainbow Gathering that was set to be held in the Monongahalia National Forest. But WHAT happened to the pair?
