After James Nault retired from commanding a US Navy nuclear submarine, he enrolled in law school at Cornell and then practiced patent litigation in two of the top law firms in America, clerked for two federal judges and ended up working with Bill Jacobson, the notorious slave-driving founder of Legal Insurrection.
