Alex's training and degree is in Civil Engineering, and he spent the beginning of his career as a construction manager in New York City, and then in Tampa.  Before he began buying and operating multifamily property full-time, he was Senior Project Manager of a high-profile hotel development in downtown Tampa. Today, Alex spends his time optimizing the performance of the portfolio and sifting through hundreds of properties to find the few worth adding to it.
