UAB football players join a players association called Athletes.org, the NCAA is in talks to settle the NIL antitrust case against them, and the SEC/B1G is developing a player revenue sharing as part of the settlement. Veteran Sports Labor attorney Jeffrey Kessler (who was part of the team in the 1993 Reggie White vs NFL case) and created the free agency structure and salary caps has the lead on this.
