In the summer of 2024, we heard a lot about Chatillon architectes, notably for the renovation of the Grand Palais. We'll come back to this later. But let's take a look at another, lesser-known reference for this architectural firm: Strasbourg's municipal thermal baths. To coincide with the opening of the Paralympic Games, let's talk about this place of well-being for all, steeped in history. Well-being of body and mind for all of us, yes, all of us, vulnerable beings, whoever we may be, in search of beauty, harmony and sustainability.

In this week of the launch of the 2024 Paralympic Games, I dedicate this issue to all those living with a disability, to their extraordinary fortitude, in memory of my older sister Clémentine, who passed away in 2017. She battled cancer and lived with a disability from the age of 10 to 55. Her mental strength, courage and grace, her taste for beauty and her love of others were exceptional. A place like Strasbourg's impeccably restored municipal baths would have enchanted her.
