Even though I covered a little bit of the MTGP card this weekend that had combat sports twitter buzzing, I could not pass up the opportunity to put the record straight with fighter, coach, and fellow podcaster 'Baba', who was present for the whole thing.

Topics include:

  • What the 'eff was going on?!
  • The fights (including the shocker that saw up-and-coming French fighter Alexis Sautron knock out the well-known visiting fighter Taiju) and just how vicious Takeru's body shots sound from ringside.
  • Where Takeru ranks among the best that Baba has seen up-close-and-personal.
  • And the final section, that looks at all things ONE Championship, including whether we think the must-see bout between Takeru and Rodtang will happen, as well as what could potentially happen if Rodtang tries to steer away from it.

Special thanks to my guest and more importantly friend Baba who I'm sure you will agree is a wealth of knowledge and very reliable in terms of the details.
