In honour of Black History Month, I invited five women across different fields onto my podcast for a candid discussion on black women in the workplace.

We peel back the layers of real-life experiences to uncover some tangible solutions that organisations can implement to help achieve genuine cultural transformation that fosters inclusion.

A special thank you to my guests Ama Afrifa-Tchie FRSA, Frances Mensah Williams CBE FRSA, Nneka Orji, Elizabeth Ajayi and Dr Avril Gabriel, who shared career advice, spoke on personal experiences and gave their own recommendations on how things can be made better.

Some of these included the importance of establishing and tracking real metrics to drive measurable outcomes, as well as education, reverse BAME mentoring and cultivating psychological safety.
